Research-Use & Compliance Policy
Last updated: [26th May 2026]
This Research-Use & Compliance Policy explains pep.LAB’s position on the supply and use of our products, and makes clear what we do and do not do. It is important that every customer reads and understands it before purchasing or booking a consultation.
In short: pep.LAB does not prescribe, does not dispense medicines, and does not operate as a pharmacy or healthcare facility. All products are supplied for laboratory and research purposes only.
1. We do not prescribe or dispense
Peplabs LLC (trading as pep.LAB) is a supplier of research compounds, operating under a Sharjah Media City (Shams) commercial e-commerce licence. We are not:
- A pharmacy or dispensing chemist;
- A licensed healthcare facility;
- A prescribing service or medical practice;
- A provider of medical treatment, diagnosis, or therapy.
We do not issue prescriptions, and we are not licensed to do so. We do not dispense prescription-only or registered medicines. We do not supply any product for human use, therapeutic application, diagnostic use, or veterinary use.
The products we sell are supplied strictly for laboratory and research purposes only, as stated on every product page and on each product’s labelling.
2. What our products are — and are not
The compounds we supply (including peptides such as those in our pen range and protocol bundles) are research-grade materials intended for in-vitro and laboratory research by qualified individuals in an appropriate setting.
They are not:
- Registered or licensed medicines authorised by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), the relevant emirate health authority, or any other regulator;
- Approved for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or cure of any condition;
- Intended for consumption by humans or animals.
No claim we make about any product should be read as a medical claim or as advice to use the product on a person or animal.
3. Our consultation service is educational, not prescriptive
We offer paid consultations with members of our clinical team. It is essential to understand what this service is and is not:
What the consultation IS:
- An educational discussion about research protocols, the science of peptides, and general information.
- An opportunity to ask questions and understand the research landscape.
- A service that concludes with a written informational summary.
What the consultation is NOT:
- It is not a medical appointment or a telehealth consultation.
- It does not create a doctor–patient relationship.
- It does not result in a prescription, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan.
- The clinician is not acting as your treating physician.
- Nothing said during a consultation constitutes medical advice.
If you require medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a prescription, you must consult your own doctor or a licensed medical professional who can take responsibility for your individual care.
4. Your responsibilities as a purchaser
By purchasing from pep.LAB, you confirm and agree that:
- You are 21 years of age or older.
- You are acquiring the products solely for legitimate research purposes.
- You will not administer the products to yourself, any other person, or any animal.
- You understand the products are not medicines and have not been assessed for safety or efficacy in humans.
- You take full responsibility for your use, handling, and storage of the products in compliance with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
- You will seek advice from a licensed medical professional before making any decision relating to your health.
5. Why we operate this way
The regulatory status of many research compounds is complex. Some compounds are not licensed as medicines anywhere in the world. Supplying them for human use without the appropriate medicines authorisation and healthcare licensing would be unlawful and unsafe.
By supplying these compounds strictly for research use, and by keeping our consultation service clearly educational, we operate within the boundaries that apply to research-compound suppliers — and we protect both our customers and our business.
We would rather be explicit and honest about these boundaries than blur them.
6. Independent testing and traceability
While we do not prescribe, we are serious about quality. Every batch we supply is independently tested by an ISO-17025 accredited laboratory. The Certificate of Analysis (COA) is matched to the lot number printed on your product and is available to you. This is part of our commitment to transparency — not a substitute for medical oversight.
7. If you are unsure
If you are unsure whether a product or our service is appropriate for your research, or you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@peplabdubai.com before purchasing. If your questions relate to your personal health, please direct them to your doctor or a licensed medical professional — we are not able to answer them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Research-Use & Compliance Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use of our Services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
