These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated at peplab.com (the “Site”) and any related services, products, or content (together, the “Services”) provided by Peplabs LLC, a Limited Liability Company registered with the Sharjah Media City Free Zone Authority (Shams), Sharjah, UAE (licence number 2645882.01, formation number 2645882), trading as “pep.LAB” (the “Company”, “pep.LAB”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You may only use the Services if:

  • You are 21 years of age or older at the time of purchase or registration. We may verify age at any point and refuse service if we have reasonable grounds to believe this is not met.
  • You are legally entitled to purchase research compounds in your jurisdiction.
  • You are accessing the Services from the United Arab Emirates, the only region to which we currently ship.
  • You are not purchasing on behalf of, or for the benefit of, a person under the age of 21 or anyone for human consumption, therapeutic, diagnostic, or veterinary use.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Research-use only

All products sold through the Services are supplied for laboratory and research purposes only. They are not pharmaceutical preparations and are not authorised for human consumption, therapeutic application, diagnostic use, or veterinary use, by any regulator in any jurisdiction. By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You understand the products are supplied as research compounds.
  • You will use them solely in a controlled research environment, in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practice.
  • You will not administer them to yourself, any other person, or any animal.
  • You will not resell, redistribute, or repurpose the products in a way that contravenes their research-use designation.

We are not responsible for any use of the products that breaches this clause. By breaching this clause, you indemnify pep.LAB against any claim, loss, or liability arising from such use.

3. Account registration

You may use parts of the Site without an account, but to place orders, track shipments, or download Certificates of Analysis (“COAs”), you must register an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential.
  • Not share your account with any third party.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that we believe (a) provide false information, (b) breach these Terms, (c) are used in connection with fraud or abuse, or (d) breach our Restricted Activities below.

4. Restricted activities

You may not, and may not permit any third party to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
  • Resell, redistribute, or repackage products for human, therapeutic, or veterinary use.
  • Misrepresent your identity, age, or jurisdiction.
  • Use the Services to harvest data, copy content, or scrape the Site.
  • Circumvent our age gate, access controls, or technical restrictions.
  • Use the Services in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site.

We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend orders, or terminate accounts where any of the above is suspected.

5. Orders and pricing

Orders. When you place an order through the Site, you make an offer to purchase. The order is accepted by us when we send a dispatch confirmation email — at that point, a binding contract is formed.

Pricing. Prices are displayed in AED (and may also be shown in GBP for reference). Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to refuse or cancel orders where a product is mispriced, even after order confirmation. In such cases, we will refund any amount already paid.

Stock. Listings on the Site are not offers of sale; they are invitations to treat. We do not guarantee availability. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will notify you and refund the order in full.

Promotional codes. Discount codes are subject to specific terms (validity period, minimum spend, exclusions). Codes may not be combined unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to revoke codes used in breach of their terms.

6. Payment

We accept payment via the methods displayed at checkout. By providing payment details, you confirm:

  • The payment method is yours or you are authorised to use it.
  • You authorise us (and our payment processors) to charge the full order amount.

If a payment is reversed, charged back, or refused after fulfilment, you remain liable for the order value plus any fees we incur, recoverable as a debt.

We do not store full card details. Payments are processed by third-party providers under their own terms. We are not liable for issues arising from those providers, except where required by law.

7. Shipping and delivery

We ship only within the United Arab Emirates. Orders to other regions will be cancelled and refunded.

Standard handling time is 1–2 business days. Cold-chain products are dispatched in insulated packaging with an ice pack and tracked delivery. Delivery times are estimates only — we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when payment has cleared in full. You are responsible for providing an accurate, accessible delivery address. Failed deliveries due to incorrect address details may incur a re-delivery fee.

8. Returns and refunds

Because of the cold-chain, sterility-sensitive nature of our products:

  • We cannot accept returns on products that have been dispatched, due to the inability to verify storage conditions after delivery.
  • We will replace or refund any product that arrives damaged, defective, or with a Lot mismatch (where the COA does not match the lot printed on the vial).
  • You must report damage, defect, or mismatch within 48 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence and the lot number.
  • Our liability for damaged or defective products is limited to the purchase price of those products.

9. Consultation services

Where we offer paid consultation services with a member of the pep.LAB clinical team:

  • The consultation is a discussion of research protocols, not a diagnostic or therapeutic medical service.
  • The clinician is not your treating physician unless an explicit private clinical relationship is established outside the consultation.
  • Information shared during a consultation does not constitute medical advice.
  • You should consult your own doctor or a licensed medical professional before commencing any protocol.

By booking a consultation, you accept these terms in addition to these general Terms.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, images, designs, logos, mockups, COA layouts, and software — is owned by pep.LAB or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.
  • Use our name, logo, or trademarks in any commercial context.
  • Use any content for training machine-learning models or for automated extraction.

Any feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to compensate you.

11. Health, safety, and indemnity

You acknowledge that research compounds carry inherent risks if misused. By purchasing products, you agree to:

  • Use the products solely for legitimate research purposes in a controlled environment.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Indemnify and hold pep.LAB, its directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates harmless from any claim, liability, loss, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
    • Your breach of these Terms,
    • Your use or misuse of the products,
    • Any third party’s use of the products following their supply by you,
    • Any breach of applicable laws by you.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranty as to fitness for purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement, except as required by mandatory applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunity, or goodwill.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or AED 500, whichever is higher.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, (c) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described there.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or where we reasonably believe continued service would expose us to legal or financial risk.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@peplabdubai.com. Termination does not relieve you of obligations accrued before termination.

Sections 2, 4, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17 survive termination.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be notified by email or by a banner on the Site. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the regulations of the Sharjah Media City Free Zone (Shams). Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Sharjah, UAE.

Nothing in this section removes or limits any mandatory consumer protection you have under UAE law, including UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and its implementing regulations.
